iceblo Q - Roomba’s Strange Cousin
READ MORE: Robots, Vacuum, home
We’ve seen a few dumpy-looking Roomba-alikes in our day, but it seems someone out there might finally out-Roomba iRobot. The iceblo Q, shown here in pink, is a “silent” robotic floor vac priced at about $600 with Nano Silver filters (??) to filter the air around the device.
Korea-only, now, and I’m pretty sure it will stay that way if iRobot has anything to say about it. This vacuum has voice prompts, which is nice, but I’m not sure I want to anthropomorphize my floor vacuum and more than I already do.

Navman iCN320 and iCN550
READ MORE: GPS, Navman

UberGizmo has the scoop on two new Navman GPS devices; the iCN320 and iCN550. They’ll be released in Europe in about two weeks, and the Europe-centric map on an included MMC card is reflective of that (if and when these make it to the US, we’ll assume that they’ll be replaced with US maps). Features are pretty sub-standard, with regular LCD screens, only about a 2-hour battery life, and no USB ports.
The iCN550 is the higher end version, and its additional features show why: optional real-time traffic management system (very handy for maneuvering in busy city streets), touch screen, SD/MMC slot, headset plug, and integrated 4GB hard drive with complete maps of EU countries.
No word on pricing or availability.

Yo Yo Yo Hitachi Raps
READ MORE: Hard Drive, Hitachi, Peripherals
‘Sup, y’all! What it is? Do you feel what I am sayin’ to you? Hitachi has informed us, yo, that mini-hard drives are the new ice, feel me? And you sportin’ mad-gigs on your jizeans will make you a big playa in da hood. And we also learn that electronics and cell phone resellers—ahem… Boost— and, granted, slothful Gizmodo editors, should probably never use street slang unless they want to be ridiculed mercilessly. If there is ANYTHING to be said about America’s youth is that they know bullshit when they see it.
